I can't really recommend this item. My kid who is 9 was not happy with it because the helmat was too heavy. We went to another store and got him a very light helmat for $15 dollarsGet more detail about Kryptonics Men's Kore Series 4-in-One Multi-Sport Helmet and Pads Combo (Medium/Large).
